The Mahabharata war continued for 18
days. Pandavas victory and Dharmaraja became the king. Dharma raja ruled for 36
years and on the thirty-seventh year, sri Krishna niryana took place. That very
day was the origin of KALI YUGA. On march 21-2015, kaliyugabdhi-5117 was
started. It means that kaliyuga started 5117 years ago. It means that kali yuga
must have originated on 3102 B.C. 36 years before the origin of kali yuga was
the niryana of sri Krishna( 3138 B.C) .
At
the time of birth of parikshit(grand son of dharma raja), saptharshi mandal(the
great bear constellation) was in MAGAH star(a/c. To Mahabharata). The great bear constellation completes one revolution between 27 stars in 2700 years with
a term of 100 years in one star. MASTYAPURANA explains the dynasties that ruled
Indian sub continent in one revolution of the great bear constellation as
follows:
